Today I have a lunch with bruce, at a restaurant called tacos, it’s a mexican restaurant. This is my first time to eat mexican food, before this, I have no ideal about the mexican, except football. I always thought all western food are all the same, they have steak, they have pizza, and chicken or pork, totoally same, it not ture. They are lots of different.
We ate some taco. I think this is the mexican tradition food. Taco is a kind of mexican food, A taco is a traditional Mexican dish composed of a corn or wheat tortilla folded or rolled around a filling. A taco can be made with a variety of fillings, including beef, mutton, shellfish, vegetables, cheeses, allowing for great versatility and variety. A taco is generally eaten out of hand, without the aid of utensils, and is often accompanied by a garnish such as salsa and vegetables such as cilantro, tomatoes, onions and lettuce.

Go to a Performance

School Club
In the first several weeks, I joined in the volunteer club. There are lots of volunteer work of the volunteer club. One of this is to be a dog cat helper.
I went to there on a Sunday morning, with some Grade 10 kids, and also the Grade 12 boys and girls, there are no anyone from the Grade 11, I think maybe they don’t like dog and the cat. I do this for the club time. This is a good experence to make me learn and get some information.
For this club actvivity, in last night of Sunday, is the sartday evening, I went to SuGuo and bought a lot of dog and cat food. Dog is easier to feed than cat, beacuses I can give cat the cat food also the dog, but cat never ate the dog food.
There are 3 or 4 10-d boys and girls went there too. If I didn’t make mistake, they are willa and peter from 10-d, also a boy I can not called. Willa is a girl love cat very much. I didn’t talk a lot with peter, maybe he is not easy going.
The place who hold this activity is a dog cat helper station, called Pingan dog cat helper station. I saw this on the map magazine, it has the advertisement on it.

Dog because the dog, so a little food will cause the cast to looting and fighting dogs. This is all brought donations of food, her aunt said the dog is certainly not enough to eat. Half way, we started firewood to donate money to the base. I still remember two days before the dog nor food thing, there are no hand in the rent and electricity, safe only to adhere to a few well-wishers, then it is too difficult.

Go to an Exhibition with Ms. Hadley’s class
In that day moring, we went to a sculpture show. This is the sculpture of a very famous sculpturer. This sculpturer called Wu Weishan. He won the champion of a world sculpture competition. In that morning we went there with Ms hadley and Ms mandy.
That a cloudy day, about the 3rd block, if as usual it will be a art class, but it's not usual , we went to the Nanjing university, the exhibition hall is in the Nanjing university. I went there with roy and vincent in a taxi, we paid about 10 Rmb. Oh , that day also a windy day, the wind blow to my face, too cold.
Then we get the inside is not very big, a door has a good sculpture, and some life, but some like a bit from the hands of Picasso, I tried to place around the left is a dark room seems to be a sculptor's studio. Then I had to go to the right, class, surrounded by students have been together, in the middle looks like it is a sculptor of the students come to us to explain, I do not have to listen to students to explain, I bypassed the crowd, and then began to appreciate the sculpture.
An art class in general have two sections，first half of this section is spent inside the exhibition hall. After this we went back to school and have a great lunch.

With Grade 12 Mentors
In that day I went to eat with the girls from grade 12, this is one part of the portfolio, I rembemer that some people from grade 12. such as vivian julia and dianne.and some people else. This is a restrant in a slender trail. It’s not easy to find. But it’s near Xing jie kou. This is a easy place to find. I thought I spend almost 20 minutes to find out wherer the restaurant is. At the end I fought it. It’s a long long way to go.
When I arrived only maybe 5 people there. It's only 5 chinese in this restaurant. Another is all the white people, maybe they from american of franch, who know. I spend about 100 Rmb. I orded one kind of the noodle. I think it’s the seafish tomota noodle. There are so much of shells in it. Not easy to eat. There are also too many tomato sauce in the noodle. All of the dishes trun to red, it’s not a good colour.
We sat in a long long table ,left and right side can only sit 1 person each. I can’t remember who is in the right side of me, but I can remember that david is side left side, because he is too loud, he jiust like a dog, keep barking, and make people feel irritabillity..

Work experience
I found the work experience to be a very good learning experience. While doing the secretary I learnt how to communicate with others and how to arrange everything very well. This is something that I have wanted to learn for a long time but have never had the chance. These days have shown me how different working in the real world is compared to school. The working day is longer and I now feel that the school hours are much easier to cope with. I am quite pleased with what I have accomplished this job and I will leave with new skills which I can use to get a job when I am older, maybe doing some manage without having a secretary. Even though the work is harder than school here, I feel that the fact that you have a choice when you take your lunch break (1 hr between 12am and 2pm) is a good idea and would be good if it was incorporated into the school day. I have met a lot of new people working here and they are all friendly. They have shown me where everything is and helped me if I needed help. One thing that I liked was the fact that you didn't have to stay in one place at dinner and that you could go out wherever you wanted.

the volunteer
For the volunter time, in the last days of the holiday I come back to nanjing. Get out of the bus I feel a straing, it is almost 11:00 am, I didn’t eat any breakfast, I try to eat something near the bus station, I could see KFC, but I am a volunter worker, it the time to work, not enjoy this. So I walk away, I find a little reastant, and eatting.
After this I went to a billiards club. I want to meet vincent there. We want have this word together.
Be a waitter of the billiards club not a easy walk. The balls need want them into a triangle and, each color different with the each beside ones. I am not practiced. The guest always need spend lots of the time to wait me. I am very sorry about this.
In the dinner time of the club. There will still have some people play the billiards. Wo have the food from the club, even we only the volunter. The dinner is the a big about 30cm*20cm*10cm boxes. The dinner of the club just like the food on the plane, not very delicous but have a lot. After half day standing. My legs are stiff. I want the time to relax my poor legs. And the dinner can bring me energy.
2 days past quickly, just like the comet in the sky, a bright light crash though the dark night. I love this expeneris.
Physical Activity
Physical Activity
For the physical activity, I played billiards, this is the interesting sport. There are serveal ways to play the billiards. 8 balls 9 balls, and the one that everyone knows, snooker.
In this days I played 9 balls. The balls have two kinds, one is have the only one color. And another is the color with the stripe. The one who shoot the first ball down, that one must shoot the same color as the first one, such as if mark shoot single color, the next one I should shoot single color. But there is one different, that is the number 8 ball, when you down all the ball in your color, you shoot 8 after you down the 8, it is win.
I very like this game I always play the 8 balls billiards with my classmate, like leon and joyce. At first I just the freshmeat of them, that times I played with joyce, I want to shoot first, when I touch the stick, it is freeze hard and heavy. I try to put it on my left hand to aim. It too tough. Them the coach called “ruan zi”. He teached me how too hold the stick. Ruanzi take my arm up to as high as the shoulder, it a strange postion, not comfortable, and also not visualible. Like want I said before if I just the freshmeat, joyce was the hungry wolf. She beat me and I have nothing to do. Oh hollycow!
